Monochromatic – grasshoppers

I initially hunted a little orange butterfly when I discovered the first grasshopper.

He didn’t really care about what is happening around him and maybe was thinking: ‘I am invisible, I am safe.’

Well not enough invisible for my “eagle eyes” and for my camera lens. His colleagues weren’t so patient though. They jumped up and down and I hardly could capture a different one.

But I was successful though and satisfied with my morning’s hunting after capturing the second one, grass green grasshopper.

  1. Always amazing to me, when one can capture nature’s smaller subjects. Great photos, and thank you for liking my post.
